This week, Tara Reid went to rehab! Tara’s rep told People Mag that she checked into Promises, but he did not reveal what she’s being treated for. He did, however, ask for respect and privacy in this difficult time.

Which country music star is considering a political career? According to The New Republic magazine, it’s Tim McGraw. The singer is reportedly serious about going for governor of Tennessee in 2010. And although I don’t know much about his political agenda, I do think that Faith Hill would make one very hot first lady of Tennessee.

As far as award shows go, Golden Globe nominations were announced this week. 30 Rock and Entourage got the most noms out of the TV comedy series. HBO stole 22 of the 55 TV categories. Nicely done.
